shouting out real loud.

dear homies, i've got a few issues to address here (perhaps on behalf of a few others as well) and i hope you guys could spend a few minutes just reading through and giving it some thoughts.

here goes, issue number:
(1)slippers!
(2)trainings!
(3)magical disappearance...erm yea.

(1)slippers.
to many, this is a 'must have' in their closet/ shoe rack. similarly for me, slippers are like the world to me. it's like a bloodly hell fashion statement and without it, i will die. (seriously if you knew me, i don't take fashion all that seriously so when i say it's fashion statement, i mean business) slippers are essential in my daily life and they make up my physical and mental well being. hence, in conclusion, i love slippers (havianas to be exact) and i cannot/ do not want to/ will not live without them.

ok, i know whatever i just wrote in the first paragraph was pretty much crap but yes, gary if you are reading this, i love slippers and you know it. but the point is, school rules are boundaries that keep us, this generation of modern day kids sane, what with all that mtv and magazines flashing celebs with clothes costing more with little farbic and shoes that have morph into nothing that looks like a shoe or slipper. but really, it's all about keeping up to date with what's in at the moment isn't it..well, at least for some. people like us, sports people, we are insane in our own ways. like wise, we have the same amount of rubbish from celebraties and what not but we worship fashion in a different sense. comfort and labels are in our dictionary, but attitude like anyone else plays the biggest role. thus, we have the great idea of donning slippers to school. we think, 'hey we are swimmers, we get wet, so isn't that a sane enough reason to wear slippers?'. now, i totally agree with that but like i've said, school rules are like barriers ro keep us crazy people from going too far out and drowning.

anyway, the point is, as much as we are young and we just wanna have fun, there are certain things in tact that are for us to follow, to guide us along our pathway in life. so why not take this free guide? i don't love it all the time and i bet you don't too, but like that nike advertisement xxx years ago, 'always look on the bright side of life...', let's hold hands and just ditch slippers for the three years that we are in rp. we could all go shopping and buy new shoes. no money? we'll stand outside the gates on sentosa and beg for money then. (lol. i'm just joking la!) it's only three years darlings. yes, it'll be over soon. (i swear it seems just like yesterday that i was a noob.) so let's tahan and make a new fashion statment with our new shoes. after school hours we can then show off our stinking feet donning slippers. we could have a weekly 'who has the best slippers?' contest at every other sentosa training.

(2)trainings.
as you all know (unless you haven't been checking your emails!), we're resuming training today, yes today, monday, same time and same place. (duhh!) we've all slowly become unfit and surely, if there is a rescue to be done, we'd all die of exhaustion or even worst, die before we reach our victim. therefore, there is much work to be done. lets all come back for regular tonning and gossip sessions like before..shall we not?

(3)magical disappearance.
i never knew lifesavers were that great in magic, not at all. mathew was perhaps our closest to what we could have called a magician and now that he has left us, we don't have magical moments anymore. so, wake up people! stop living in lala land. if you've become to light and have floated up to cloud nine, please, dear friends, be nice and use needles to poke them back down to planet earth. otherwise, for those who have secretly morphed into sleeping beauty or snow white, get your prince and princesses to come kiss you awake, if not, i'll do it personally.

the point is, ever since lifesaving season has ended, it seems that winter has come for us and we've all hibernated faster than our laptops can. i don't exactly see everyone in school or at lunch or even online. has everyone secretly joined dragonboat and become so muscular that i can't recongnise ya'll for nuts? or perhaps, some have decided to cross out sports in their life and joined the dance igs in rp? well, i'll be sure to check out trcc soon cos i miss you guys and i'd do anything to catch a glimpse of your faces.

see all of you at training today, hopefully. it's depressing enough that no one replies my smses no more and plans have to be cancelled. (you know what i mean)

whats wrong ?

is everybody disappearing in the air ?

i feel that now, or currently. everybody is not as bonded as compared to the past.
ever since, we've been baned from swimming at the complex. everybody is going through their own lives .

Some of the people in team have been putting effort for the team to doing bonding session , and the others don't seem to be interested ?

PEOPLE, we are in a team. we got to go through this together.

We've came so far, but yet you all wanna throw everything in the lurch?
it's kinda of disappointing you know , to see us being like that..
can we have some improvements?

junior training at kallang basin swimming complex.

hi all, have you guys die? no news, not much of sound from all of you recently. haha. please do inform me if you are secretly planning a super happening party and is planning not to invite me. i can then prepare to act real loser like and curl up and cry in the corner. :(
anyways, during the one (and very pathetic) week break, the juniors and I had our LS 1, 2 and 3 training at Kallang Basin since we had been bann from the school pool for wearing slippers. (aiyaaa....) it was pretty much coach jeremy's first time meeting them and assessing them for LS 1, 2 and 3 as well.
At first the juniors did give me and jeremy a bit of a shock of our lives when asked to perform the very first rescue. BUT, thankfully they woke up from lala land and did the rest of the rescues quite right. (heng ar! if not i sure fail also.)
point is, with the juniors around, (especially becky) we must be patient and understand that time is never ending to them and everything around is always worth capturing on camera. so here goes, pictures!
for the benefit of new viewers to our blog, introducing the juniors! (from left to right) elly, cassandra, rebecca, felicia, me, syed, zahra and of course jeremy.
behind the scenes: now i know why they always take so long in the bathroom.
jeremy's car is so awesome cos' it could fit all our bags and us too.
the upcoming pictures were all taken in jeremy's awesome car. haha. amazing you'll see...
we attempted to take a group picture of all of us in the back seat. attempt number ONE.
attempt number TWO.
attempt number THREE. ok la...there were more attempts but i cheat can. i wanna make us look like pro cam-whorers. hee!
now this is rebecca. at least to me, she looks like paddington bear. not only does she cuts up her pancakes neatly and eats them in order from left to right, she finds it important to take a picture of almost everything around her where ever she goes too. one more thing, i know her favourite alphabet :) (inside joke la)
training was suppose to start at 11am but got dragged on to about 12pm...(you guys all know why ar! please buck up!) and by the time everything ended, it was about 3pm. showered and all and we headed down to toa payoh (not to mentioned, all smashed in jeremy's awesome car) to have subway (eat fresh!). There after, only becky, cass and me knows what happened. HEEHEE :D
anyway, i miss trainings at all of you. so far, the only team that is see are the juniors most of the time. (not that i'm getting bored but...) I think it's time we gear up again and burn away all the fats that we have accumulated since we became stagnant for abit. What more, the little 'angels' (juniors) have mentioned that they wanted more bonding sessions with the seniors. so yea, let's become one big family once again.
