people! aiights, i'm here to convey my thanks kays~ haha. i'm thinking of sms-ing you peeps, but thn realised that my bill is on the verge of bursting already. thn i thought of msn-ing you guys again, thn agn thought of the fact that i did it yesterday conveying my thanks. lol.

so i'm here to blog! haha. alright, the lunch-time meeting! ok, seriously i'm stunned aiights. i'm only expecting longfei and andy. cos we're supposed to meet for lunch. but! the whole team turned up! alright, maybe not the whole team. but still. (:

you guys are ohmygod-freaking-good-actors-and-actresses! i knew it, must got influenced by Jin the drama mama righht? hahah! aiights. i'm really shocked, to see you people there as well. especially it's about the same old people who celebrated for the afternoon thingy as well.

i really don't know you people were in contacts with my girls. i seriously had no idea. cos i don't feel anything at all! and during afternoon, you people can act like nothing happened. but in actual fact, you people had started preparing like one month ago. (: i really appreciate what you all have done for me. (: seriously touched.

when i first stepped into the place blindfolded, i couldn't hear anything. when they took off the scarf, i saw Kgang and Mommy and Eils Sis and Sean Bro i cried already can. cos i'm touched enough. thn i heard one whole gin gang sang happy birthday song and i recognised some voices from the lifesaving team la! that i immediately go over to the wall and BLAHHH.

laughs. but nevertheless~ i'm still so glad and touched that you people are here! :D and special thanks to CHRIS! :D by me and kgang. haha, you really made the atmosphere liven up ALOT. hees, love you! :D

AWESOME

Lifesaving competition is over..
but it does not mean that we are going to be very relax-ful. we still got to train hard , real hard for the upcoming oness. teehee. but mean time, we still can play hard. =)

well, it's been a great pleasure to have you guys all around to be supporting one another during the competition. We didn't give up but instead , we survive through the very end. Despite the little medals that we have gotten, don't get despair about it. Our goal next year, earn more medals. =)and i believe, this can be done with hardwork and the amount of effort that you are willing to put it.

throughout this competition, its not about winning something, is about the experience that we went through and also the insights that we had gain. The mistakes that we made, we got to learn from it and also to assure that the next time round we will do even much more better.!

but still good job everybody. i guess this time - this competition, this had made us bonded to well with each other. So let's carry on this way. Rock on people!

reasons why i love ya'll.

i know it seems like i'm spamming but i don't really care. haha! i must make known that i love everyone in team lifesaving so much and i've got pictures to prove why:beacuse medals are openly shared amongst everyone. meaning, all for one, one for all. as how rachel have shown in the above pictures, peilee's gold medal is equals to hers as well. HAHA!because they are so observant. things like this, why i am the only one standing on the right side of the board cannot escape their eyes.because they are so 'creative' as to use cardboards that were prolly ditched by some beach goers to make 'banners' for me last minute.because the way you guys cheer really cracks me up and i can't help it. i swear i can really see much we support one another. the expressions and actions are priceless. enjoy, hee!because when there's food shortage, we share.
because when gary says individual debriefing, it means everyone crowds round and listens in as well in case he or she misses out on any pointers.because even if i don't win, they would still take a picture with me. then again, i think they're just pround of the 'banner' they made.

nevertheless, thanks you peeps!

a special shout out to CHRISTINA.

dear friend, during the still water championships, we were close to a medal (maybe), but like what peilee said, 'shit happens at such moments' and we lost it all. as much as i had cursed and teared on the spot that day, i know and i saw the expression on your face too. The look of dissapointment and regret. i just want you to know that i never beared any anger on you. i never blamed you or thought that you should felt guilty. i just want you to know that it was a TEAM effort and we both made our fair share of mistakes. the medal can wait for what cannot wait is our friendship. a winning shall not be the cause of a ruin friendship but it shall be what makes us closer :) we'll learn and be back for more. this time around, no more repeated mistakes. thank you friend for being there, always.

moments of magic.

hello there. hold your breath as i reflect on the journey of our team. caution! it might bring tears to some so be sure to have a box of tissue by you.

i had stepped into rp with hopes of being part of 'THE LIFESAVING TEAM'. i told myself that if there weren't an existing team, i would start one and i would want to create a team that would be respected and looked upon by others and be strong enough to take part in competitions. that dream lingered in my mind all the time, even before the first day of school.

i've always envied the other lifesaving teams, for their strength, power and bond. from the side i'd always look on, and hope one day i would belong to a team like theirs and to me then, it would be picture perfect.

and then during the IGs orientation, i met alvin (our pioneer captain). as pathetic as it had seemed, our booth was plain, with nothing but a lifesaving manual and a laptop to register our names to join the team. Even alvin wasn't at the booth itself! he was busy goofing around at some other IG booth and i had to approach him for registration.

anyways, somehow along the way, (sorry la! i can't remember) i met longfei and then rachel came along. we used to have this petite pretty girl named germaine as well but she decided to break up with the IG after some time. (germaine if you're reading this, we love you still!) the three of us, together with ryan, willy, kaythiam, alvin, peilee, liling, jessamine, zhiwang and yikai were a team back then. indeed, we were a small team, but i'd say that we were rather bonded. our trainings were at woodlands swimming complex and dinner was always at the same old coffee shop where zhiwang and yikai would chomp down food like there's no tomorrow.

over time, our small team grew. others like yongkai, glenn, melvin, carin and i cannot recall who else joined us. honestly, i can't recall how you guys came along but i know you did and i'm glad you guys made that choice. haha! then came along the next IG orientation and this time around, our booth was more attractive and we recruited more people who are now known as the year two peeps; chris, andy, marvin, weisi, peggy, jeremy, zhengkai and yvonne. at first we weren't close. but it prolly happens all the time doesn't it? we stick to our already comfortable clicks before actually becoming closer. As the seniors grauduated and eventually longfei and i took over the captain and vice-captain position, it felt to me, an honour.

it might sound stupid but it was as if the dream i had back then in year one was coming through. i thought that hey, it's finally my chance to lead the team and make changes. with longfei's help, i believed we had done a decent job. the period that longfei and i took on the responsibilty as captains and vice-captains, our friendship got better too. shuci and gary, of course did great jobs in guiding us along the way. though both may have different views at times, they had each taught us ropes on the sport itself and as well as how else to manage the team.

that year, was where i felt i had took on many chances that we given to me by gary and shuci. the chance to teach lifesaving and the chance to lead, manage and make decisions for the team. i have learnt a lot and i must say that from there, i've grown to love and cherish the team. what i had dreamt of back them, had indeed come true and it really felt awesome to be in it myself. well of course, all these couldn't have happen of not for each and everyone of you. here's to everyone in team lifesaving, i hope my contributions have been useful and i do still want my dream, or should i now say, OUR dream to go on. a special thank you to longfei, gary and shuci and even jessamine and yikai, for the year that i was given the chance to lead the team. then, i could only look on and think when it was my turn to have a team, but you guys gave me my very own picture perfect moments :)

dear all, in months to come, i'd be graduating and as much as i dread it, really, i know my time would come. three years in rp and the team has been part of what has been keeping me going all this while. the time that i've devoted and the effort that i've put in, i hope you guys will continue to do so. each and everyone of us has come this far and we don't just wanna put a full stop to our pages. now, every team out there is aware of our presence. now, everyone recognises our faces and flag colours. now, we've trained so hard and are closer to medals. do we want to throw it all away? dear team, can we stay together long time and put in as much as we have been doing all these while? maybe we could do more but let's stay together, shall we not?

i love this team, and if i could, i would marry the sport and all of you. if i become rich and famous in future, i would make sure everyone lives in luxary and i would sponsor everyone's swim wear and equipments. every other week, i would treat ya'll to bubble tea too. HAHA.

Hi all,

Finally another year of Life Saving Competition is over, GOOD JOB to everyone in the team regardless of whether you have make it into the final anot. The team have grown in the number of people compared to last time. I feel that our team had strengthen and more bonded during the competition as we keep cheering for our own teammates. All the hard works that we have put in for training have not been wasted. Work hard for next year and try our best for next year again regardless of whether the seniors will still be there anot...
